SunBelt Xpress Promotes Eric Hoover to National Sales Director
Hickory, NC — SunBelt Xpress, a leading provider of specialized furniture shipping and logistics solutions, announces the promotion of Eric Hoover to National Sales Director. Hoover brings nearly two decades of transportation and logistics sales experience to the role, along with a long-standing connection to SunBelt Xpress that spans multiple phases of his career.
Hoover first joined SunBelt Xpress in 2011, gaining early experience within the organization and building a strong foundation in furniture transportation and customer-focused logistics. He later returned to the company in 2020 as Regional Sales Manager, overseeing sales efforts across Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Oklahoma. In that role, he played a key part in expanding market share, strengthening long-term customer relationships, and elevating the overall customer experience across the Southeast.
His consistent leadership, industry knowledge, and results-driven approach led to his promotion to National Sales Director in December 2025.
In his new role, Hoover will lead national sales strategy, support continued growth across SunBelt Xpress’s expanding footprint, and work closely with customers to deliver customized logistics solutions. His focus will continue to support SunBelt Xpress’s core strength in furniture transportation, where the company is recognized for reliability, service, and deep industry expertise. He will be headquartered at SunBelt Xpress’s Hickory corporate office.
Prior to rejoining SunBelt Xpress in 2020, Hoover held sales leadership roles with Priority1, Cargo Transporters, and Cargo Consolidation Services. His background includes national accounts management, business development, and furniture logistics, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of both asset-based transportation and third-party logistics solutions.
