Sunbelt Furniture Xpress Merges With Newton Transportation
Sunbelt Furniture Xpress and Newton Transportation have entered into a definitive agreement to combine Newton Transportation's operations into that of Sunbelt Furniture Xpress. We are very excited to have Newton Transportation as part of the SunBelt team as we build on the combined company's 108 years of new furniture transportation services. Newton Transportation since it's inception in 1945 has successfully worked to provide a quality transportation service and value for their customers. Similarly SunBelt with its start in 1966 has a proven track record of being the carrier of choice for a large section of the furniture industry by focusing on service, quality of delivery, financial stability and forming strong partnerships with our customers to meet the expectation of the final customer.
Our goal is to provide a seamless transition so that Newton's customers can continue to enjoy a superior level of service with the knowledge that they will have a long term, financially sound and dedicated provider in Sunbelt Furniture Xpress. We continue to actively build on our leadership position as we expand and strengthen the scope and services to our customers. Sunbelt Furniture Xpress has service centers located in Hickory NC, Dallas TX and Fontana CA which provide three key gateways from which to move new furniture products to market. The addition of Newton Transportation expands our full service coverage into the states of IN, IL, OH, PA and WV and allows for future expansion as our customers ask for greater coverage in the United States by Sunbelt Furniture Xpress. We are grateful for our current customers support and eager to prove ourselves to new customers in the Newton Transportation service area.
